MICHAEL KENNEDY REMEMBERED::
A Tribute from Chris While (UK)
It would be my honour to help or be involved in any way. I really loved Michael and his music. I had the job of announcing his illness at the Troubadour Festival where I asked everyone to think of him and send their love to him and his family.
A message from Julie Matthews (UK)
It's a great thing you are doing, Michael has left such an astounding legacy in his music, it really needs to be heard and accessible to the world. We will all do our best to promote the website once it's up and running.
From Kristina Olsen (USA)
There are few songwriters who can mix spirituality with human grittiness in a real way. Leonard Cohen and Michael Kennedy come right to mind. And Michael had a wicked sense of humour too. In my book, that’s the holy trinity. And somehow Michael managed to sing so purely through those damaged lungs. I’m not so much sad that he died as glad that he lived to bring us the great gift of his songs.
